WHAT IS NEW ZEALAND 2005

 From 17 - 20 November 2005 an Exhibition of New Zealand's rarest stamps will be held at the North Shore Events Centre, Glenfield, on Auckland's North Shore.
The Exhibition celebrates the Sesquicentennial of New Zealand's first postage stamps, issued in 1855, showing a portrait of Queen Victoria, known as the Full Face Queens.
As well as the Full Face Queens, many thousands of 'stamp collector gems' will be on display. (Imagine spotting a stamp worth many thousands of dollars which could be sitting in that almost forgotten stamp collection at home!)
The Exhibition is being organised by the NORTH SHORE PHILATELIC SOCIETY, with support from other stamp collectors in Auckland City and throughout New Zealand, together with the New Zealand Philatelic Federation and the New Zealand Stamp Dealers' Association, which is much appreciated.
The organising committee is extremely grateful to New Zealand Post, who are the Exhibition's principal sponsors.
Stamp Dealers from throughout New Zealand and possibly from countries such as Australia, England and the United States will be in attendance. Check these out under Participants. As well as their special displays of stamps for sale, they will have many boxes of bargain hunting treasures - and, yes, you could make the 'Sale of the Century' by selling an item or your unwanted collection to one of the Dealers.

The Exhibition will be open from 10 am - 6 pm on Thursday, Friday, Saturday 17-19 November and 10 am - 4 pm on Sunday 20 November.
